10/07/18

According to refreshed data from the world-famous annual survey BP Statistical Review of World Energy 2018, proven natural gas reserves in Ukraine are estimated at 1.1 trillion cm. Our country is the second only after Norway.

Each year Ukraine produces less than 2% of its gas reserves. At this level of extraction of our own deposits, we sufficient of them for the period of 54 years. According to this indicator of self-sufficiency (R / P ratio), Ukraine ranks first in Europe, where the average value is 12 years.

It proves once again that Ukraine needs to produce more of its own gas and is able to do so in several times more intensively by attracting more investment and modern technologies into the industry.
