The Executive Director of the Association, Artem Petrenko, participated in the Second URIF Industry Day organized by the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
The event brought together U.S. and Ukrainian government officials, representatives of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), international financial institutions, and business leaders, and focused on strengthening private sector engagement as well as on the role of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund (URIF) as a new investment mechanism.
During the panel discussion dedicated to unlocking Ukraine’s energy and mineral potential, Artem Petrenko spoke about the opportunities in Ukraine’s natural gas production sector, which is already serving as a trailblazer under the signed resource agreement.
«From my perspective, the key task now is to convert U.S.-Ukraine agreements into concrete investment decisions – that is, into real projects and practical cases. In this context, the synergy between the government’s position and deeper partnership can generate an effect that will bring Ukraine’s oil and gas production sector into a new investment reality», emphasized Artem Petrenko.
