The Government's ambitious goal of increasing natural gas production to 27 bcm is actively discussed today by the public. They are interested in decreasing their utilities bills.

In the interview to informational portal Segodnya.ua, the executive director of the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine, Roman Opimakh, has answered the following questions:

Will the gas producers will be able to provide Ukraine with the domestic gas in volumes, necessary for achieving self-sufficiency?

Will the increase in production influence the end price for the consumers?
