Natural gas in the EU green taxonomy

Since January 1, 2023, a Taxonomy Complementary Climate Delegated Act will enter into force. This document defines which types of economic activity are considered sustainable given the impact on the environment and to which investment projects it will be directed.
The European Parliament recently included natural gas and nuclear energy in this list of environmental activities. This opens new prospects for developing the gas production sector in the European Union and Ukraine.
And amid the constant gas blackmail from the russian federation and Europe's rejection of russian gas, changes and rearrangements in the gas market can be drastic.
