The Executive Director of the Association, Artem Petrenko, and the heads of gas production companies met with the CEO of Naftogaz Group, Oleksiy Chernyshov.
"We continue to invest to increase production and ensure Ukraine's gas supply. This is the primary task of both state and private producers," emphasized Artem Petrenko during the meeting.
He noted that the resource buyout by Naftogaz Group on the exchange has allowed independent enterprises to continue their operations, drill wells, and plan new projects.
"Producers are interested in ensuring competitive and transparent rules, and the development of market mechanisms. This is key to strengthening the sector," Artem Petrenko is convinced.
The head of Naftogaz, Oleksiy Chernyshov, emphasized that Naftogaz Group is ready to purchase the entire volume of gas that private producers will offer to the market this year.
"In conditions of war and constant hostile attacks, it is critically important for Ukraine to maintain energy independence and increase domestic production. Naftogaz Group is doing everything possible for this, including significantly increasing our production volume last year. However, the overall result depends on all companies currently operating in Ukraine. We understand that production requires investments. Therefore, you need to market your resource at a competitive price. We are ready to purchase it," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
