Ukraine launches PSA tenders for two oil and gas blocks

On April 8, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Interagency Commission’s proposals to launch PSA tenders for two hydrocarbon blocks: Mezhyhirska and Svichanska.

Both sites are located in the western part of Ukraine, covering Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions. The Mezhyhirska block spans 1 515.61 sq. km, while the Svichanska block covers 1 082.61 sq. km.

Each tender will proceed over approximately six months, including:

• a two-month public announcement phase through official print outlets and the Ministry of Energy website,
• a three-month application submission period,
• and a one-month evaluation and winner selection stage.
