Ukraine increases drilling

In the first quarter of 2024, an average of 46 drilling rigs were operational in Ukraine. This is nearly a quarter more than the same period last year, when 37 rigs were in operation.

Moreover, this year's drilling figures even surpass the pre-war results. Back then, an average of 30 rigs were operational.
Statistics from Baker Hughes show that a total of 118 rigs were operational in Europe in the first three months of the year, with almost 40% of them working in our country.

"The drilling activity once again demonstrates that despite Russian energy terrorism, state and private companies are doing everything possible to ensure Ukraine is supplied with its own gas," noted Artem Petrenko, Executive Director of the Association, during the 58th CEEC meeting.
