A special subsoil use permit for Budyshchansko-Chutivska field was purchased at the e-auction on the ProZorro.Sale relevant platform. Promising gas resources at the block are more than 20 billion cm, oil – 2,006 million t. Estimated reserves – 856 million cubic meters of gas and 2730 thousand tons of oil. The Ukrainian Geological Survey Institute has indentified Budyshchansko-Chutivska block as the most promising investment offer with hydrocarbon deposits during the last 10 years.
Five domestic gas producing companies participated in the auction. As a result of the bidding, the Bid price per lot increased by 700% or 8 times compare to the Ask price, which is an absolute record for the sale of special oil and gas special subsoil use permits.
DTEK Oil&Gas has won the auction offering the highest price for the block – UAH 650,5 million.
