The company Stryynaftogaz has joined the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine. The official membership was approved at the General Meeting of AGPU members.
Stryynaftogaz operates in the Carpathian oil and gas region of Ukraine. The company's main activities include exploration and geological study of hydrocarbon fields, development and production of minerals, drilling of new wells, construction, and operation of gas preparation units, sale of the produced resource, and significant workovers of wells.
Stryynaftogaz is developing two areas in the Lviv region: Dobryvlyanska and Chernytska.
"We are well acquainted with the activities of the Association and are glad to join the largest unity of gas producers. Together, we will work to increase natural gas production, as the strategic goal of the state and gas-producing companies is the same - an energy-independent Ukraine", said Petro Hryniv, director and founder of Stryynaftogaz.
The Association brings together the leading independent gas producers in Ukraine. Our goal has always been to contribute to the strengthening Ukraine's energy and economic security, establish cooperation between the state and business, increase the production of natural gas and attract investment in the industry.
"For more than a year, our country has been in a full-scale war. Despite all the difficulties, the sector is working: every cubic meter of gas produced in Ukraine strengthens our energy security, and taxes paid help the economy and the army. In such a difficult time, it is important to unite efforts and jointly develop the oil and gas industry. We welcome the new company, which has become a full member of AGPU", – emphasized Artem Petrenko, Executive Director of the Association.
