A meeting took place between the newly appointed CEO of the Naftogaz Group, Serhii Koretskyi, and the leadership of Ukrainian gas production companies.
Key topics discussed included gas stockpiling in preparation for the 2025/2026 heating season, recovery from the aftermath of Russian attacks, current challenges faced by producers, and identifying ways to ramp up domestic gas output.
«I sincerely thank all representatives of the industry - both public and private « for their unity in critical moments. The large-scale attacks on oil and gas infrastructure caused significant damage across the sector, leading to the need for substantial gas imports. Today, every cubic meter of Ukrainian gas plays a vital role in ensuring the country’s energy stability. Naftogaz remains an open and constructive partner for the production sector», said Serhii Koretskyi.
«Once again, I am convinced that such meetings are essential to coordinate our actions, hear different perspectives, and find the right solutions. Today, all gas producing companies operate as one - working toward a shared goal of ensuring Ukraine’s energy resilience», added Artem Petrenko, Executive Director of the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine.
