A highly educated youth is the primary value of a nation and a guarantee of effective reconstruction of Ukraine after the war. We at the Association firmly believe that quality education will promote economic progress, and the combination of science and practice forms the basis for enhancing professional skills and gaining experience.

With this purpose in mind, the Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas - a leading higher education institution in Ukraine in the oil and gas field, which has been successfully training specialists for the sector for over 55 years. Today, the university includes eight educational and research institutes, an oil and gas energy and ecology research institute, three colleges, and a lyceum with more than 10 000 students.

"The gas production industry is one of the key areas for the Ukrainian economy and has the potential for development after our victory. In the post-war reconstruction, highly qualified workers will be in demand, so it is important to jointly prepare specialists today, who will possess the knowledge and relevant skills to strengthen the country's energy security," says Artem Petrenko, the Association's Executive Director.

Together with the university, we will implement programs and projects that will promote the country's energy independence, stimulate innovative activities, implement new technologies in the industry, encourage students' professional development, and enhance specialists' qualifications.

"For many decades, our university has trained highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry. Today, as Ukraine is fighting an external aggressor and fighting for the right to a free life, our main task is to do everything possible to ensure that our graduates become a driver for the post-war growth of the country. I am convinced that cooperation between the university and business is an opportunity for our students to gain experience in applying their knowledge in practice and an incentive to improve and develop. I am confident that our partnership with the Association will yield good results and will be supported by real actions for the benefit of our country," said Igor Chudyk, the rector of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
