The Executive Director of the Association, Artem Petrenko, participated in the 7th Kyiv Oil and Gas Conference at the Newfolk NEC. During his speech, he discussed how artificial intelligence-based technologies are transforming the world, particularly the oil and gas production industry.
"An Ernst&Young survey shows that 92% of oil and gas companies are investing in AI or plan to do so within the next five years," said the head of AGPU.
Through "intelligent" technologies, international players are increasing hydrocarbon production, finding new fields, reducing exploration times and the wear and tear on drilling equipment, monitoring emissions, and automating large volumes of data. Today, all this helps them save costs, increase safety, and make field development more efficient and faster.
"The experience of international companies in applying AI should be adopted and implemented in Ukraine. The use of cutting-edge technologies is key not only to increasing hydrocarbon production but also to the efficient operation of companies and attracting new investments to the subsoil use sector," Artem Petrenko is convinced.
