Executive Director of the Association, Artem Petrenko, participated in the 8th Ukrainian Gas & Power Forum: New World Energy Architecture and Green Transition.
During his speech, the head of the AGPU emphasized that state and private producers are making maximum efforts to supply Ukraine with gas ahead of a difficult winter.
"Companies are working diligently despite all the military challenges and the continuation of energy terrorism by Russian occupiers. Our forecast indicates that this year's total gas production in Ukraine will remain at the level of last year, and in 2024, we will be able to return to the trend of its increase", emphasized Artem Petrenko.
He also noted that Ukrainian business continues to invest in the subsoil, seek opportunities to increase production, and plan new projects.
"Owing to the subsoil use reform (Law No. 2805-IX), the circulation of licenses has been liberalized, which will allow attracting new players to the sector. For investors, the key issues are, first of all, the security situation and the stability, transparency, and immutability of the rules of the game", Artem Petrenko is convinced.
We express our gratitude to the team of organizers for the invitation to join the event!
