Four bids were submitted for shallow water Dolphin block in the Black Sea:

1. Caspian Drilling Company Ltd., state-owned oil field service company of Azerbaijan, main contractor of SOCAR.
2. UKRNAFTOBURINNYA PJSC, large private Ukrainian gas producer.
3. Frontera Resources, American energy firm, operating in Georgia and Moldova.
4. TRIDENT ACQUISITION LIMITED, American blank check oil and gas investments company (SPAC), made a bid together with San Leon Energy, operating in five countries with current major production in Nigeria.

The minimum work program requirements include $ 55,5 million of investment, and drilling of at least 5 exploration wells.

The Intergovernmental Commission has to evaluate the bids within one month and make its recommendations to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to select the winner.
