On the Prozorro.Sale platform, five oil and gas license auctions were held, raising nearly UAH 1.18 billion for access to prospective blocks in Lviv, Poltava, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
- The Zakhidno-Mazharivska block (Poltava region) sold for over UAH 1 billion - more than triple its starting price of UAH 313.9 million. The winning bidder was Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
- The Pivnichno-Vivnianska block (Lviv region) was acquired for UAH 25 million - a 17-fold increase (1 602%) over its starting price. The winning bidder: Stryynaftogaz.
- The Pivdenno-Hirska block (Lviv region) was sold for UAH 16.5 million - up 3.5 times (255%) from the opening price. The winner: Horyzonty LLC, part of the Zakhidnadraservis Group.
- The Krynitska block (Lviv region) went for UAH 108.6 million - 18.3 times (1 728%) more than its starting price of UAH 5.9 million. The winning bidder: Euro-Prompostach LLC.
- The Pivnichno-Hlybivska block (Ivano-Frankivsk region) was sold for UAH 24 million, up 3.5 times from the UAH 6 million starting point. The winner: Ukr Zakhid Haz LLC.
These e-auctions, conducted by the Ukrainian Geological Survey, once again demonstrated transparency and competitiveness in the licensing process. The aggressive bidding and substantial price growth reaffirm that Ukraine’s hydrocarbon sector remains attractive for investors.
A total of 20 Ukrainian companies participated in the auctions. The business community continues to believe in Ukraine and the Armed Forces, actively investing in gas production and doing everything possible to expand domestic output.
