The names of the applicant companies which will compete for the development of 3 oil and gas blocks with a total area of over 3800 sq.km under the terms of production sharing agreements were announced at the meeting of the Interagency Commission on February 4, 2020.
Hrunivska block (Sumy and Poltava regions) – 2 offers: JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in partnership with Vermilion Energy; EP Ukraine B.V.
Ichnyanska block (Chernihiv region) – 1 offer: York Energy (UK) Holdings Limited.
Okhtyrska block (Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv regions) – 3 offers: JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in partnership with Vermilion Energy; DTEK O&G; EP Ukraine B.V.
Minimal investment commitments into development of three blocks for the first 5 years will be at least $70 mln.
During two months, the Interagency Commission should evaluate the bids of the applicants, determine the winners of the tenders and recommend them for approval by the Governement.
